Nice. The breakfast is very good. But the room was quite difficult to reach because there were so many stairs. Besides, tiny windows and no view at all.

This hotel is located in central Edinburgh and very convenient. The room we stayed in was on the top floor and enjoyed a magnificent view of the New Town and the sea. That view more than made up for the lack of lifts / elevators in this historical building. The room was generous in proportion and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The room we received was not reflected in the images and we received a complimentary upgrade, the bathroom was tiny, the TV was old and had lines and dead pixels, the bathroom had a dank smell, it cost a lot for what we ended up with. The bed was uncomfortable. Sorry but I would not return and wouldn't recommend this location. For the same price if not cheaper you could get an air conditioned room and better bathroom.

Room was really nice and clean. No problems at all. The only surprise was the £25 security charge when we arrived but that was no big deal since the money is returned after staying.

Location is fantastic .. walkable from the station lots of bars and reataurants shops and sightseeing very nearby. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast had plenty of menu choices. The room was a little small and the window didnt open but positives outweighed any negatives for us. Good value for money. We would stay again.
