Edinburgh Pilates Centre is the original Pilates Centre in Scotland. The owner, Chris has been teaching since 1994. He and the other teacher, Pat share a wealth of knowledge and years of experience between them, that makes coming here the only place for me. I have been coming to EPC for nearly seven years. It is hard to find classes of any type today, Pilates included, where there is a safe client to teacher ratio. This is important to Chris also, which is another reason I go here. I would recommend trying EPC to anyone that cares about classes that are both, effective and safe.

I discovered the Edinburgh Pilates Centre in 1996 through personal recommendation. After my first class, I knew that Pilates was right for me. The Centre is friendly and welcoming and provides a safe space for making new discoveries.
I have a long term health condition and many years on from my first class, Pilates continues to be a source of joy and benefit . Over the years, Chris, Pat and other teachers at the Centre have used their expertise and creativity to help me find effective ways of working. Exercises can be adapted so that each individual can get maximum benefit - strengthening weak muscles, stretching tight areas and improving mind body connections.
Pilates demands concentration. I find it a great way to have a break from the mind’s endless chattering and to be in the present moment.
