Lovely little hidden gem in Edinburgh, well worth the visit if you can find it, & it's free too!

Small museum packed with facts, the author's personal effects and audio information. I was mostly interested in Robert Louis Stephenson and Sir Walter Scott but found Robert Burns and his life and writings interesting too.

Nice museum if you're interested in the writers history of Scotland. Free entrance so that's a good thing. The museum is not big tho, you can see everything within 30/40 minutes.

Everyone can see the Scott Monument on Princes street gardens but only a few search for it's history. It's a small museum but I'm sure you'll enjoy your visit there.

Are you a book lover? Are just interested in seeing what really Scottish culture is? Do you just wanna entry for free in a museum? Then The Writer's Museum is the right place to be.
They have the three main Scottish writers there and they explain you briefly how they used to live.

It's a small but really interesting house. If you have any chance, go there.
