Took my mum here for Sunday lunch, never been before but will definitely be going back. We both had roast pork, with crackling and all the trimmings. Was lovely, and the gravy was amazing as was the giant yorkie! Staff were really nice and the whole place is just perfect for a lazy Sunday lunch. Thank you and see you again very soon. Great venue. Excellent service, really excellent, and superb food. My guests were also impressed with the range of beers. Had a great time. A brilliant place, far superior to the vastly over-rated raeburn.

Love the atmosphere at Hector's as much as I love its dog friendly approach. It's cosy, it's contemporary and cool, the floor lamps hanging from the ceiling are a nice touch and the food is pretty good. I've been here many times, but going in with a large family group last week and being served by Chris was the best experience by far. The man excels at customer service, and we would have gladly welcomed him and his sense of humour at our table. A big thank you to him for making an all too brief trip home to Scotland even more enjoyable!
