The hotel is efficient! Check in was easy. Check out was easy. Even the rooms are efficient, comfortable, clean and floor to ceiling windows adds brightness

Great location. Rooms clean and comfortable however two single beds pushed up together are not a double!!! Also no room information - check out times, room service etc. £15 for breakfast is extortionate

Stayed in a double room but it was actually two singles pushed together and left made up as singles with single duvets. We had an extra bed for our son in the room which was a sheet on a leather sofa. When the beds were made up they then put a padded bed cover on it, so no consistency with housekeeping. There was a constant ticking from the air conditioning even though it was switched off. This hotel has been recently refurbished and the signs stating this are still in the windows. For the cost the finish isn't great. For example the painted wooden door frames look messy and the shower screen doesn't seal so the floor is soaking every time the shower is used. Maybe should have saved money and stayed in a Travelodge. Will not be coming back!

Location is central well within city limits and walking distance of some excellent restaurants and night life. Rooms are of a good quality, although minor things like the non-slip built in bathmat is fading away despite a recent renovation. Staff have been nothing but brilliant, although we haven't eaten in the hotel or had cause to complain. Cleaning staff do a great job though and things seem at least very in order. You will however often find random bits of waste "hidden" by other guests in the halls. More walkthroughs might help.

The hotel is in a fantastic location a short walk from the heart of Edinburgh old city and very easy to get to from the airport (tram and less than a 5 min stroll). I can't fault the hotel or the staff to be fair but the price was a little too high for what was on offer. I would assume this was down tot he fringe festival. The room was comfortable and the mattress was very supportive. I have minor back issues and had no problems sleeping or getting up. I really enjoyed the breakfast offering, there was a good spread of hot and cold options but I was disappointed that there was no haggis on the Monday morning when there was on the Sunday.
