A bit disappointed as the roast chicken was poor and the burger mediocre. The chicken had none of the goodness of a crisp roasted bird and instead tasted more like bland poached chicken. The kale, zucchini and pea soup to start was quite good. Service was good. The ambiance was a bit bland but functional.

Lovely little bar, with a cosy ambiance and good drinks. The only criticism I have is that several pints we ordered recently were served in a hot glass (straight from the washer?)
Otherwise a great little pub!

It's a wee bit dull, this place. Lost its sparkle. Edit: To which the owner promptly replies: "I guess that depends on when you are visiting and what you are looking for". True.
