I have been to all pools in Glasgow and this one is always freezing cold!..Their health suite should be attached to the pool..or atleast stairs to up from the pool but having to change to go up..and up there is constantly freezing aswell..they maintain that they keep the same temperatures in the pool and such but its always always freezing as compared to Scotstoun& bellahousten..whose health suite (Sauna & Steam) are attached to their pools..Really need to sort it out...

Cleanest pool/ changing room of all Glasgow Clubs I've used. Would be great if the adult swim could be extended on some nights until 9.30pm.

I only used the swimming facilities, but there's a gym and perhaps fitness classes? There's 2 pools and a Jacuzzi (adults only). The place appears very clean and hygienic. There's a membership option but you DON'T have to be a member to use any of the facilities. It's a little above average as far as cost for swimming. It was £3.20 per adult but the standards are above average so we were happy to pay a little more.
There were several life guards at all times. Very reassuring when you've got a child with you who's not a strong swimmer.
It's certainly family friendly. I saw children of just months old right up to teenagers. Accommodates a wide range of ages as I saw elderly ladies and gentleman also.
If you don't want to be bothered by children and are there to swim, that's also fine, there's another pool for you with lanes! Furthest it possibly could be from the shallowest area of the kids pool. The pool with lanes is 25m in length and was surprisingly quiet for it being a Saturday during The school summer holidays.
The kids pool isn t square or rectangular the edges are all circular, there's little areas within it which suits for younger and older children. To enter this pool its a gradual walk in slope kind of pool. There's also steps. All staff very friendly and helpful. No bad or dangerous behaviour was tolerated from a few boys ages 8-10? The lifeguards were on point regarding safety.
Perhaps, at a reasonable pace, its a 25mins walk from the centre of Glasgow. I would come back here to visit some other time I'm in Glasgow.
Overall I was impressed. It's closing for renovations on 31st July. There's a twisted water slide that was closed when we went. Much to many of the kids disappointment. I'm sure on the website, confirmation of what the water slide status will be, after the renovations and also what improvements will be taking place.
Just a last thing 20p for the lockers in the changing room and also 20p for a timed hairdryer afterwards.

I visit every week to play tennis and the ladies bathroom is in desperate need of attention.. Every time I go it's dirty and smells. The tennis courts are great, but way too expensive to book when it's not off-peak hour.

Great local pool. My 3 boys have lessons at the Gorbals pool and a family swim every Sunday. Last class is at 12.20 so by 1 pm all lanes are open again on a Sunday. Friendly and helpful staff on at reception. Plenty of attentive life guards and great coaches. Kids love the rapids and the flume when it's open. The flume is not always open, so check before you go! There is a great jacuzzi open in the pool area. However, it's getting fixed - so check before you go.
