Georges Square has been restored back to its original design allowing great views of the town Hall that was thought to be to ugly in the 1900s, it is also the last place on the mainland to have troop deployed against the civilians. It is surrounded by architecture from the 17th century to the concrete brutallesk Queen St Station (For all trains north). The east end contains a nice war memorial and each corner contains a statues of notable people with center pillar. This is the beating heart of Glasgow

When weather is fine it a good place to stop and have a break from shopping and just watch the world go by or even better go for a beer or coffee in one of the many bars around the square.

Steeped in history. A great meeting point. A hub for travellers. Make yourself comfortable and drink it in.

We came through here on a day trip to Glasgow.
This is a square/plaza that's pretty similar to a lot of different cities around the world and I assume they use it for events now and then, but there wasn't much going on when we were there.
You have statues and monuments and large, imposing buildings all around! I'm certain this would be a prime spot to feed birds if you were so inclined. The mood here seemed pretty relaxed--just a lot of people sitting around and taking a break.

Iconic Glasgow Tourist Attraction.
Situated opposite Glasgow council city chambers.
Has some fine architecture surrounding the square. Also some poignant monuments to have a look at.
Worth a visit if you've not been or seen it.
