Beautiful victorian hotel set in leafy gardens. Super-comfy beds and great breakfasts. Lovely hosts and staff. Just a short walk through the park to keswick centre and you can set off to climb skiddaw from the front door. Thanks for a great stay. Denise and Mark. Newcastle.

We got a last room booking to take advantage of a fabulous break in the weather so we were not expecting a great room. We were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the accommodation, the room was Ok for us as we are both under 5'7 but the ensuit would cramp anyone bigger. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, we would recommend full English to anyone who is not a vegetarian. This hotel is value for money and we will use it again.
