Reasonably priced, great facilities for camping and excellent location for easy access to the fells. Well stocked shop on site as well

Toilet and shower block are excellent. On site cafe and shop very good. Pitches good. Excellent pubs nearby for food and drink. Keswick a 40 min walk away.

Been coming for years, there is space for tents, campers and caravans but we stay in the chalets. It's for six people and is comfortable and has all the amenities you need. The site itself has a lovely shower block, a cafe and a shop. Plenty of green space for the kids to play, a stream for fishing although we've never caught anything. Staff are friendly. A generally good family site.

Amazing campsite, with great, flat, well kept grass pitches.

Toilet and shower block are amazing, some of the best I've ever seen, with extremely powerful showers (although the toilets automatically flush if you sit back).

The on site cafe is open 8am-1pm (as of July). It has a full English breakfast for £7, which true to its name, completely filled us up - the plate was piled high with 3 sausages, 3 bacon's, 2 tomatoes, black pudding, egg, beans, hash brown, mushroom, and a slice of toast - you really don't need any more. Well worth it.

There's also a camp shop with some essentials.
