The fish it tasteless, chips are ok, don't have a wide spread of drinks. Oh and do not order the mushy peas

The first sign of a good fish and chip shop is the length of the line (Queue) outside the door, and that is exactly how we spotted this place!
During our 9 days in the Northern Lake District we actually ate there 3 times, once a wrapped up take away, once on paper sitting on the park benches outside the door, and the third time upstairs in the cafe. Piping hot and fresh each time.

Great quality food all round. I rarely do take out, sit in the restaurant upstairs for a dining experience that makes you forget it's a chip shop, but with chip shop prices.

Chips are fantastic the burgers on the other hand are not so good should of had fish mmmm. Cheap burgers yuk

Amazing staff, gorgeous upstairs restaurant. Really tasty fish - something special. Well worth a detour, don't eat elsewhere in Keswick!
