I think you would have to be pretty grumpy to not like this hotel
They cannot be more accommodating and rooms very well kitted out with good accessories and very comfortable furnishings
Breakfast options are plentiful
The pub menus for food are very reasonable and more importantly delicious
Parking not available to book
We found spaces in adjacent streets or overnight parking available from 7pm in car park very close to hotel

Fabulous food in newly refurbished restaurant/ bar. Good value for money and nice friendly (and helpful) staff.

Good service. Food is overpriced for what it is. Lamb Hotpot was nice but for small children as it is a very small portion. Mushroom stroganoff was extremely bland. Burger too small and limited choice of desserts. The ice cream was £2 for one tiny scoop. Creme Brûlée was the only nice dessert.

Slightly quirky hotel, good food & friendly staff. Popular, so dinner booking advised. No parking but free on-street parking nearby. Our second visit, definitely not our last. Handy for theatre.

Just had a couple of drinks, nice enough place quite tourist focused as you'd expect but a decent enough pub. Have eaten there in the past and food was decent enough too. I'd say slightly more food focused pub than a pure drinking bar but serves its purpose well.
