I am writing this review from the perspective of an event organiser. We paid £480 for the use of the Main Hall on a Sunday afternoon. Upon getting there the floor was extremely sticky, to the point of it being very noticeable and off putting. If you stood in one spot too long it would make considerable noise when you tried to move. The person from the Trinity Centre, who was ostensibly there to help us, was particularly unhelpful and generally seems frustrated with everything we did. They openly passed judgement on the way we were setting up, including criticising our lighting choices despite obviously knowing nothing of our show. We are an accessible event and in particular our attempts to set up and use their wheelchair lift was met with obvious frustration. Furthermore they seemed to take issue with having certain internal doors open to make it easier for people to enter and exit the room. The amount of oversight and micromanaging was intolerable.
We paid a considerable amount of money for the space and were made to feel like a nuisance and that we weren't able to use it to its fullest extent. I'm sure the Trinity Centre is great place to go as a punter, but our experience of running a day time event there left much to be desired. I cannot recommend it.

We live close to Trinity, and go to around 5 gigs/events here each year. For gigs, the sound is amazing! Works brilliantly. Seen same bands in Trinity and at arenas and Trinity is always the better gig!
They have a summer garden party which is always fabulous, and they do a brilliant fireworks display, aimed for locals as those with flyers have priority entry.
