Bought air pump that only made a buzzing sound - no air, just noise. Returned and was sold a slightly more expensive one that is almost as bad. Assistant didn't seem to have much of a clue about aquarium equipment.

Enormously over priced for most things. I only use it as a last resort. The staff are pretty good though.

We were looking for a small pet for my two girls the staff we spoke too were really helpful and knowledgeable and helped us understand which pet would suit us best and what we would need to get started . . . Absolutely brilliant advise would recommend and we shall be back in a few days to complete the purchase. Thank you

Good range of products and some unusual and exotic pets available. Service can be a little slow at the best of times which is puzzling as each member of staff requires a lot of training according to their own branding information.

Some of the staff are very nice. Some grumpy and not at all willing to offer you informed choice. I brought two guinea pigs which they were for adoptions. They charged for them 25£,which is the price of one. So basically buy one get one free.
I wasn t able to donate how much i wanted they told me how much i need to donate,at least half of the price of one and they pushed me to buy two, which i didn t mind until i got home and they were sneezingand coughing. I left them until next day morning and straight away called the vet at pets at home,which they were very nice. I called the shop manager as well which pay for the initial treatment of my guinea pigs which they were both having a respiratory infection. But after two months of treatment i wasn t able to take them back for check up for around two weeks or a bit over two weeks and when i called that they didn t heel,that the treatment didn't work
. they said they won t pay anymore. I took them and payed,it was 84£. And still to be seen. Now they have an ear infection. I m getting to pay hundreds of pounds for their fault because they re selling SICK animal and they don t give a file with their medical history when they re selling them. So furious.
If my guinea pigs will die how am i gonna explain it to my 5 year old daughter?
I should have been informed before adopting them of their medical history and then choose.
