Went in for cloth nappy bits and the girl serving looked at me like I was an alien. On a previous visit we were in the shop 10 minutes and no body came out to see if we needed anything. Shame its the only baby shop locally as some competition might make them improve their customer service

Nice independent baby shop. We bought a green sheep mattress from here and was as competitive as other places, however with independent shops you get that extra friendly service and better knowledge

Fantastic customer service from all the staff at Baby Direct, was recommended to come here by a friend and it didn't disappoint, the staff where more than willing to answer and questions I had about the different products and spent a lot of time, engaging with me and trying to help me make a decision, very knowledgable and friendly

Don't bother!
I called Baby Direct to ask if they would price match a free car seat with an Uppababy Vista travel system that Lesters in Manchester were offering me. Thelma said they would match it and to pop into the shop at the weekend.
Well I went in today and guess what.... they won't match it after all.
Waste of my time.
I recommend Lesters in Manchester for their fantastic service and their willingness to offer you a great deal.
Baby Direct should take a leaf out of their book!!!

I am writing this review in response to the last one. I dealt with this lady's mother, it was not the lady writing the review that came in to our store, I am not lazy or unhelpful, in fact I was the opposite, I asked if her daughter had looked at any other prams, she asked what I'd recommend and I said it depended what she wanted out of her pram, I suggested she look to see what we did on our web site, then if any was to her liking she could come to view them in store and have a full demo, I never said Silver Cross was not a good brand, I like Silver Cross products and the company very much and sell a lot of their products and she never asked me to get a car seat off a shelf, what I did say about car seats was that she needed to come to the store with her vehicle so we could try car seats in as she had no isofix and we would need to see what seats fitted, a service we pride ourselves on. I felt hurt when I read this review as I'd spent quite a long time with her mother
