Terrible. This is at best student halls accommodation. Budget it is not, its worse than that, its spartan. If you are brave enough to stay here, do not pay anything more than £60 for the room.
There are better Ibis offerings, so look at those first

Bed comfy, room clean. But if like me you like to have a hot drink in your room, then take your own kettle , tea, coffee and milk.
I have paid less to stay in hotel and got more for my money.
Don't paye for breakfast as it's ONLY continental for £5.99.
Car park is situated approx 5mins away and 4 busy roads to cross.

They wasn't messing when they called it Ibis budget. The rooms are small and you could probably develop claustrophobia in the toilet, but the rooms are finished to a good standard to say its budget.
There isn't a bar but you can purchase bottled drinks from reception (alcoholic and non alcoholic) but I would recommend the shop just behind the hotel.
There isn't any dedicated hotel parking but there is extortionate council car parking across the road. Just remember to pay for the parking again the next morning at 8am, the traffic wardens don't mess about.

If your priority is convenience on a budget, you'll be fine with this hotel but don't expect frills. The rooms are spartan with minimal furniture. No separate bathroom, the sink is in the room, the shower and toilet are two separate cupboards. No tea-making facilities in the room which was a minus for me but you can get tea and coffee from reception.
Bed looked as if it was a plank of wood but I actually slept well. Shower worked very well. Room was clean. Reception staff seemed a bit indifferent though not in any way rude. Very close to the city centre though the location across a big road junction can seem daunting if on foot. I had a really nice view across the city centre from my room.
If you need somewhere clean and safe to sleep in a central location this is fine and competitively priced. If creature comforts are important as well, however, you might want to consider paying a little more elsewhere.
