The vet was marvellous, very compassionate to both the patient and the owner. Clearly very knowledgable and experianced and communicated everything clearly. Could not have wanted more.

Arrogant staff, feels unwelcoming, overpriced and she wouldn’t let me use pet insurance to scam me for more money because she knew I was desperate for my rabbit to get better. Never going there again it’s been a horrible experience. The only nice one is the vet’s assistant who sees the pet before the vet herself. It’s really unprofessional how they treat you with such disrespect. Do not waste your time!

The reception staff at Holly House on Street Lane are very unwelcoming and very uncourteous, and seem to spend more time looking at the screen on the computers rather than greeting customers, they always seem stressed. One in particular just picked up her mobile phone and walked away from the desk when I arrived, and didn't say anything to me but just left me standing there. I always seem to have to wait ages in reception even for something simple like purchasing pet food. The Vets are usually good and friendly however the charges are also very high.

Wow, I am so glad it wasn’t our own pets emergency when we came here because the service and competency of the staff was unbelievable! We found a hurt bird in the road and was advised by the rspca to take it down to a emergency vets. This was only vets closest which was open 24 hours. Staff weren’t very friendly or concerned as you’d expect and kept us waiting. We left contact details and asked to be informed as to what happened to the bird. No call... we rang to chase up... we were told it was the wrong vets we were calling and had to ring back THREE times to explain it was not and we deff took the injured animal to their site. The next time we spoke to someone she just told us it ‘didn’t make it sorry... and we’re not given any explanation as to why or what happened. In all honesty, we were shocked at how we were spoken to and does leave us a little concerned as to what happened to the bird and makes me worry as to did we leave it in the best care! (If your reading this, please tell us what happened to the bird?!) Will continue to use our usual out of hours vets even though it is further away and after our experience I would not feel comfortable leaving our pets here, sorry.

Amazing experience with this vet. I own two rats and have had one treated for an infection and the other neutered, both at this practise. Not only are they honest and clear in the procedures or care of your animal, but they make sure that you feel well looked after in any issues with your pets recovery, I could not recommend them more!
