Great value rental and friendly staff. But avoid the Super Cover. I thought £26.00 was high for three days; I was astonished to find when I handed the car back that that was a daily price, then they added tax. £79.20 for three days cover; an entire year costs just £37.99 privately. No luck with customer service. I'd signed therefore I had to just deal with it. I don't like businesses that penalise their customers for not paying enough attention to spot when they are being ripped off. I'll go with a more reasonable agency next time.

Great service from Sam and the gang everytime I go here (which is often) - there can be a wait during busy periods, but what hire place doesn't have that!!

A brilliant service provided from start to finish. I have had a car from Hertz on 3 occasions, their car rentals prices are very reasonable and no long delays when checking the car in or out. I would struggle to find a more professional and better value car rental.

Avoid Hertz at all cost!!
renewing my weekly rental for the third time , I was advised to renew further week using the website. However, the website quoted me £1291.53 for one week for a 'B' category car( a corsa or similar). Obviously, this was a mistake on website!!!! but no, I was informed by the staff at OAKSTEAD garage in Leicester that this was correct when they don't want you to book at hertz!!
So, since I already had the car, I asked OAKSTEAD garage to give me the same rate as before, which was £84.25 per week, they refused and offered me a rate of £117 per week !!!!
I quickly returned the key and complained to their head office ( call centre is in Ireland ) but they just did not want to know!!!
They have lost my business plus my 2 companies' business too!!! worth nearly £80000 per year.
DO NOT USE HERTZ!!!!!!
