The food was really enjoyable, and noticeably different from standard "curry." The Himali special I had was barely spiced, but loaded with a delicious selection of herbs. Keema naan, roti and poppadoms were very tasty.
The maitre d' was cold (but not in a classic efficient French maitre d' way), and not well suited to the establishment, and did not set the right tone. However, it turned out to be the appropriate tone as they were out of Nepalese Everest beer, seated us at a wonky table after we asked to move having been plonked at the door (plenty of tables open), were "out" of chapattis, had four staff in decaying orbit around our table confusing themselves and managing to mess up our order.
That said, our main waiter was very professional, very friendly, and was very apologetic about the comedy of errors we were subjected to. He struggled to hide his contempt for those failing all around him, but remained cheerful and salvaged the evening.
Fair prices, clean dining room and washrooms.

Really good ghurka hill chicken curry good service and happy to seat a group of ten late on Saturday at short notice. Fair prices, probably a bit lower than it used to be when it was the Tiffin.

Nice food, good service, Brilliant curry in a nice atmosphere. Nepalese dishes - particularly the Seafood Miss Mass - were amazing. Naan bread was very good. Service was also top notch - well recommended five stars
