Amazing fresh and hot food with a friendly staff and nice beers. The pies were very tasty but some gravy would have been nice to go with it but they only had beef gravy. Asked a member staff if they would look at getting some veg and chicken gravy for the next time and she said would look into it. Thank you. Tony P.

A very good pub that also does some very good food too. Nice choice of drinks including a guest cider. A comfortable atmosphere that is both friendly and welcoming, nice broad church of people and opinions. The interior layout affords choice of being in the mix or a quiet corner. The staff are hard working and friendly under the guidance of John a veteran of successful pub service whose influence is subtle enough to be almost invisible. Good pubs need our support, its no hardship here.
