The meat in my beef and mushroom pie was in big lumps and too tough to eat. Pleasant service.

Went for Sunday Lunch. Arrived very quickly and service very efficient. Vegetables ok but limited range. Yorkshire kept warm too long and v crispy. Small portions of meat but plenty of roasted (over-spiced for the kids). Was ok.
Puddings were better and increased the overall score.

I have been regularly eating here for over a decade and it is absolutely charming, earlier this year I switched from vegetarian to vegan and the staff were kind enough to make me a vegan pizza- which by the way was delicious! I would fully reccomend to people in the area, herbivores, families, special occasions, the lot. There's a fixed price and normal menu which changes depending on season and time of day. Also dogs are allowed in the bar area downstairs but not upstairs.

Good food throughout, lovely pub... ALTHOUGH I have to say the burger was very sub standard compared to the rest of the food ordered on the table. It looked and tasted extremely dry. Definitely a processed patty and nothing fresh about it. The rest of the items ordered on our table looked great so can't really fault anything else.
