The benchmark for a gallery, for me, is to feel at ease browsing or made to feel welcome without feeling harassed to show interest or buy. The other aspect is to be brought to a halt and forget everything else. My visit one dank Saturday with footballers galore in the streets brought me an experience that I feel epitomises the joyous experience of art. I whizzed round, declined a kind offer of cake and was brought to a halt in front of a work that stoped me in my tracks. I had a coup de coeur and knew I had to have the piece;. I left but the image followed me. Why such images created by another mean so much is hard to fathom, but that image will live with me soon. Yes, I bought the work😏

having been let down by a well known picture framing outlet in leicester ( started falling to bits after one week) , I visited this gallery to acquire a quote to frame some album covers I had , and was very surprised , what with there lovely well presented gallery in a central location to find that they could provide the exact same frame at a lower price to there out of town competitor , and not only was it better value but was put together better , more attention to detail , the glass was clean and polished , and the staff were very friendly and well versed in there trade , i shall be using them again and recommending them in the future . top class job by a top class gallery , thanks again .....
