Great facilities drinks were average price good selection at the bar . Rooms were good with on suite bathroom shower was poor breakfast was full English serve yourself continental was also available.

Staff were polite and welcoming. Room was small but clean and comfortable with tea making facilities. Room faced the park and was very suitable for our overnight stay and short trip into the Albert Dock and shopping centre. Nice breakfast area serving both continental and full English breakfast. Bar area to the rear of hotel.

Initially we were placed into a room with a sticky floor in the bathroom, a toilet which didn't flush easily, a light which wouldn't switch off, a curtain that wouldn't close properly and a dodgy lock on the door (room 7). This was rectified the following day (it was clear that they already knew of the issues with the room, which begs the question why they hadn't tried to repair it). Anyway, the alternative room was really nice. The downstairs areas are very quiet. On the night of our arrival, the helpful bar staff made us a cocktail and whipped up some food (the kitchen was closed so they didn't have to do that). Food was basic but we were grateful anyway. Would I go back? Yes, but only if I could pick my room.
