Be very careful if booking this hotel on line. Due to a bad wi-fi connection 2 rooms were reserved, in error, when I only needed 1. We were unable to make the booking & despite appealing to the hotel - after all we didn't go so no cleaning was required, they have steadfastly refused to refund even a portion of the 2 rooms, over £100!

Make no bones about it, this is not a luxury Hotel. I've had more comfortable stays in much cheaper hostels. The cramped basement room we stayed had a horrible musty stench about it, the bed was rickety, the a/c didn't work and made an annoying click every 5 seconds, the loud vibrating plumbing in the hotel meant that we kept waking up every hour or so whenever someone flushed or used a tap, the sound proofing was awful, we woke up in the early hours of Saturday morning to hear two people having a loud bonk above us. The photos advertised online were not at all what we saw when we arrived. They must be for the larger rooms upstairs. All in all, not the worst the hotel I've stayed in but definitely up there.

Just left the printworks after a fabulous weekend in liverpool i would highly recommend the printworks 5 star accomadation the staff were 5 star too spotlessly clean 5 star breakfast cant wait too return thanx for your fantastic hospitality x

Reception staff very nice.. we was grateful for early check in.. bed was very comfortable.. although the room had a stale smell ... it central for our wedding venue.. last min booking....i would not stay here again. Iv stayed in much cheaper pleasant places..

The hotel's location is superb, very near to lime Street and central Station. However, the room was okay, I stayed in the single room without a window in underground. The beds were quite high and the room was slightly dusty. The staffs were very nice and helpful.
