Staff were really friendly and attentive, stayed in junior balcony suite was very spacious, homely apartment feel, with nice bathroom. None of the advertised extra amenities for this room were present: Fruit platter, pillow menu, discount card for meals, upgraded complementary tray. Tray wasn't filled up each day with new coffee or new water. Afternoon Tea was nice, very friendly service. The breakfast was average, though I would avoid room service breakfast if you want fresh fruit, fruit platter was tinned fruit on the breakfast tray.

Really bad experience at this hotel. We arrived to a dirty room, filthy walls, strange bedding with duvet put under the sheets and mouldy milk. We were kept up all night by a faulty drain pipe which made the room and door to our room shake, making us think someone was entering our room. Upon check-in we were asked to leave a £50 security deposit which we were assured would 'not leave our account and be released straight back to us in the morning'. In the morning we were told that the deposit would be refunded in 3-5 working days. Overall an annoying experience with no sleep. Although they gave us some drinks vouchers after letting them know about our stay it did not really make up for the awful experience we had here. Disappointed.

Very friendly staff. Very convenient location literally 70 steps from Chelsea Football Clubs Stamford bridge. Pricing for European football match was very good. Expect what you pay for though. This is not a high end venue but more than adequate.

We stayed at the Richmond for two nights. On arrival given a room which was more like a boudoir - we overlooked the car park and there was scaffolding outside of the window. Bad start. Also no air con. The receptionist was brilliant and gave us a much better room. Still no air con, but not a problem. Went out the next day and returned to find our room unserviced. Rang reception and they offered us free tea and coffee???? Already in the room. The night duty manager jumped to the rescue and serviced our room, gave us a free drink in the bar, and I think because we were quite good about this gave us a free bottle of wine. Not the best experience I have had. The next morning bright and early the fire alarm went off three times....... Apart from all of this the staff were really courteous and helpful.

In a very convenient location the hotel seems to be a hidden gem. The rooms are very large and well appointed with some rooms having a full fitted kitchen. Large comfortable beds, hot waterfall showers makes you feel like a special guest. The food in the restaurant is excellent as is breakfast with everything on offer. There is no car park, however there is parking in the near Q park at a reduced rate. Overall excellent hotel with friendly staff and well appointed rooms.
