Great for kids. Outdoors activities and cafe also great for kite lovers and cyclists

It's a great public place to visit, and the otterspool eatery is nearby, with outside space for dining. Worth a visit to kill a few hours in the holidays.

The doctors simply act as bureaucrats for the state. For medicaĺ treatment go elsewhere. Staff are unfreindly and show signs of racial and social bigotry.

I love the River Mersey with it's changing moods. The Sun rises and sinks with it's rays stretching it's length. First one way then the next. No two days are ever the same!
I love to run and play with our dogs on the rough, unkempt fields between Riverside Drive and the Promenade. It reminds me of my childhood. Growing up and playing in the fields opposite my home. Our dogs love it too. And whether playing there or walking on the Prom you meet such lovely people, many with their lovely dogs.
Then of course you have the lovely well cut grassed area with it's well kept shrubs, bushes and trees. Great for picnics, ball games and playing with children or pets. This area goes right on up to Garston near enough. But it links The Festival Gardens site and Priory Woods (St Michael's) with Otterspool Park. Which in turn links with Sefton Park and the Bohemian Lark Lane.
The other way along the Prom follows this magical river right on in to Liverpool itself with the Albert Dock, Three Graces and the ferries.
What is there not to like about this wonderful stretch of our city!

Great big open spaces with walkways all down the River to the City Centre if you fancied walking or biking it. Plenty of well kept space, a huge playground, a pub and a aerial adventure type thing, lovely place so long as you prepared for the chill wind off the river, it's usually a
Little Colder here than it is half a mile inland, in the heights of summer this is a blessing but the rest of the time just make sure you have something warm to wear so you can enjoy a fabulous stroll down the promenade.
