Judge Dredd and Watchmen exhibition was excellent. As an aspiring comic artist it's nice to see things like this!

Lots of hiddens gems inside, definitely worth a visit. Beautiful place.
I suggest the cheap parking under the Cathedral nearby if you're driving.
Note the gallery and museum are closed on Mondays.
Liverpool University items can be bought at reception.

I visited this museum today and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The collection is one of the most varied I've come across in a long while, from the background of nuclear research to a collection of dentures. The architecture of the building is reason enough for a visit, a beautiful, unspoiled gem of Victorian design. The staff are the friendliest I have met as well as being very well informed on the collections. Plus there is a great cafe. They also now have their own app available for the iPad to give you a virtual tour. It's well worth a visit and is easy to walk to from Lime St. station,.
