We were treated decently by the staff, however a £30 checkup turned into a £125 visit. I was pleased the vet was so thorough and spent so much time with us considering it was supposed to be just 15 minutes. However, upon mentioning my dog had had diarrhea ONCE that morning, probably due to nerves on the bus, we had to pay for probiotics which seemed unnecessary. I was also made to feel very scared about various health concerns, some of which made sense but others seemed to just to be getting money from me. I decided to go for a second opinion from another vet, who said the appointment I had had previously seemed a bit over the top. The health concerns could be monitored and managed by me, and to bring her back if anything got worse.

Very poor service from staff they all seem to have an attitude right through to the vets themselves. They diagnosed my dog with diabetes gave me no information whatsoever, only how to inject insulin. We had to go to another vets to get information on diabetes. Poor knowledge only interested in getting more money from you. Have called many times and asked to speak to manger but to avail, made a complaint and wanted to speak to vet manager about service provided from staff saying they had sent off insurance forms, only then to wait over three weeks to be informed from insurance that they hadn't got them and that the vets can email them directly to them not post them. Still waiting after making the initial complaints in June and been promised numerous Times that the vet manager will ring me and arranged times with them to be available but guess what no calls. then when you ring them it's always excuses from the staff , even though they email you with a time and date that they will rong you they dont. Pet owners beware as Jessie jay sings it's all about the money money. Not one bit interested in customer service or contacting you when you make a complaint they just bury there head. SHAME ON YOU

I just took my dog Valentina Avalos yesterday. She is a 2 year old Yorkshire, never gotten sick. The "vet" said she needed a scan to know what was going on. They charged for that of course. And they said they were "inconclusive". My husband first was told by the same vet, after the scan that because she was very tiny they cannot see in the scan what is going on with her so she needed surgery and remove her uterus. My husband asked what if that is not the issue and the vet answered well if that is not the case because she is open we can look for what is wrong. (What?????????). Then I arrived and she gave me this kind of speech again but she also said "we don't have the expert of the scan but our more experience person here says that we cannot see what is going on with your dog because it is too tiny". I think to this 1) why do you perform a scan if you already know you will not get any answer from it due to her size and 2) how do you dare to say such things when you don't have the expert there???? Someone with real competencies that would actually know how to read what is revealed in the scan????? My husband and I refused to surgery without any proof that she really needed it. So the vet "changed" her attitude to ok, but her kidneys might failed due to the antibiotics. Which I know it can be possible only if the animal takes a considerable amount of antibiotics for a period of time. But then, she said ok we can have her on fluids and then perform blood test. If she is ok we will give her antibiotics. My little girl was feeling bad so my husband and I decided not to move her to another vet until she was stronger and that treatment is no harm to her (we know that from previous experience). So, at the end my little girl was just fine with her antibiotics, she didn't need the surgery. Despite the vet advice to my husband that she needed surgery over and over again the treatment was expensive when I really think she could recover more easily. Apart from the money, the most important thing is that my husband and I went through a lot of pain and worry because we love her so much. Honestly, their incompetence to make decisions and what kind of treatment my dog really needed made them tell us thinks such as your dog might die tonight if it is what we suspect, she needs to give good signs of her recovery tonight if she is even going to make it to surgery. They are just looking for the money, last time we went with these "people" if you can call them that.
