After writing a few words about a brasserie cafe ( Cafe VIRON ) in Otemachi which should be this Grand Cafes equivalent in Tokyo i can see the major gulf of difference between amateur and professional - Grand Cafe knocks the spots of the tokyo equivalent on all levels though the Tokyo VIRON still manages to be more expensive ...... typical
Visited Grand Cafe as a guest of an HF for brunch at the counter. Excellent service from the Italian staffers who we dealt with who were both friendly and talkative. Great coffee and food items and a good price too - all set within a wonderful architecturally historic building

Fantastic venue, great cocktail and tasty food. Ask for the set menu, I think it's a good deal for quality food at a fair price.
I would definitely return and try other dishes (and cocktails)...

I have to be honest, I was nervous this restaurant was going to be stuffy and no fun. I am happy to say I was wrong. The staff were friendly and had just the right touch of attentiveness and playfulness. They knew their stuff when we asked about preparation and where the ingredients came from.
Beautiful space and great service. Most importantly, the food was outstanding. I didn't have a single bad bite here.
