Had a lovely weekday lunch here. The food was all cooked fresh in the visible kitchen. Was a relaxed meal that took time to come as it was all cooked to order, and well worth the wait. Others who were eating here at the time we're all commenting how excellent it all was.

Stunning lunch. An unassuming place on Hereford road, nice understated decor and very pleasant service.
Had duck and orange sorbet. Price is very reasonable, and both the duck and sorbet were to die for!
Been here a few times, the quality fluctuates depending on how busy the restaurant is, try to go when it is idle.

I always enjoy my dinner here. It is a reliable, unpretentious modern English restaurant. Food is the hero and they are reassuringly well-cooked particularly some of the comfort food roast dishes. Service is unintrusive but efficient. Menu usually consists of a few interesting dishes. Reasonable price and comfortable, relaxing setting.
Went back to this restaurant last week and food is still great. It is extremely good value for money and portion is decent. One special mention is the wine. We had a great bottle of red and the people who run the restaurant clearly know what they are doing !
