If there was -100 or - infinity stars I would rate it that much.. Avoid this place at any cost.. first you need to order one main course per person else they will charge extra 8 pounds per person. They will just ask you if you like papad. If you say yes they will get you papad and 3 chutneys. Most of the restaurants in London n Scotland server papad free. These people charged for papad and 3 chutneys.. they charged 70p × 3 chutneys x number of people.. they do not tell you that they charge. I don't have an issue if they charge, but they should tell it in advance..
When they give you the bill and if you ask them, they start to argue rudely saying this is our policy and it's in our menu.. they have a 10 page menu with lot of text apart from the menu. Who will read everything. I have eaten in lot of Indian restaurants throughout the major cities in US. No one does like this..
I think that is the reason this restaurant is empty always.. my mistake was I did not read the reviews for the first time since I was very hungry.. pls avoid this restaurant at any cost

We visited Shad on Tuesday evening and the food and service was fantastic! I highly recommend this place and it certainly lived up to all expectations. The chef specials are delicious too and the staff are super friendly and kept the beers flowing.
Check this great Indian restaurant out.

Be careful! Avoid this place if you can help it. We came here late with my mum who is disabled and wife. Thing started good but went down hills after taking our orders. They served all the food which arrived quickly and the little chilli chutney they give at the beginning was nice.
Then things went down hills when the main food arrived. It tasted bland and they gave us food we didn't even order. They waiter seemed disinterested and stopped acknowledging us.
When we questioned why they were giving us such bland food they became rude and insulted us. They even insulted my mum right in front of other guests.
Finally, when i went to pay i noticed they charged us for three mains. even though we ordered only 1 main and two sides. They told me at payment it was their policy of 1 main per person. the waiter did not mention this to us.
I will never go here again.

Went here to get some food after a day in London. Really impressed. Given its location and London prices in general, the prices here are very reasonable. We were seated quickly and the staff were attentive. The food was excellent and came out quickly and was hot. It's only a stones throw from London Bridge so would happily visit again if in the area.
