I struggle to understand the positive reviews I see on Google and have to conclude that the reviews have been padded.
The atmosphere is basic and not very comfortable, the drinks are expensive and the food, in my case, did not exist.
After ordering food we waited, and waited, and waited. After 40 minutes we discovered that the order was sitting on a counter and not passed to the kitchen. No food, no apology and no return.
If you want trendy, overpriced and basic - a very Shoreditch combination - then this place is for you. For everyone else, there are much better options.

The book club is a dark and humid basement. No choice on the bar. Just few rudimentary drinks. Book lovers do have a sophisticated test in all , including drinks you know

I really like the food here, the coffee and drinks. People are friendly - including other customers - and the decoration is fun and hip. Staff behind the bar are OK, but lacking a bit of empathy. I've been here a few times and every time they seemed to be tired and doing me the favour to help - not rude, just not happy to be there. But I still like this place, the atmosphere and food here are worth a visit.
They also let well behaved dogs in, which is very nice.

Great place to go in the day for a chilled vibe and actually read a book. In the evening g it turns into a buzzing bar with a dance floor downstairs in the basement. Very cool place to go with great drinks albeit on the pricier side.

Lovely space. Quite large which was great because we had two large luggages that we were lugging around. The price is perfect for the portion size. Traditional breakfast- gigantic. All in all, good food, reasonable prices for good portions.
