Great food and really good for coeliacs as they know exactly what's going in the food and the staff are careful to check. Make sure you book on busy nights though.

Food was good, we shared the beef and bone marrow pie, which came with a side of mash and buttered cabbage, it was tasty, although I thought the pie could of done with a little more meat. Definitely book in advance if you want to eat here, we booked on the day and consequently were crammed in on a tiny table, where we kept getting interrupted by the movement of other diners.

I don't know what happened, arrived a few minutes before 6pm, their kitchen open time and sat at the restaurant bar - there was no sign of 'wait to be seated' or a hostess available. I watched the front room staff go over their evening menu briefing, seat people from the bar, and even give a menu to the man a chair away from me, all while looking up attempting to be acknowledged. Poor, passive-aggressive service with no excuse. Too bad, I won't be back unless a friend drags me here.

I come here to eat a night every other week - at least. It's just that good: the menu is always different, and the quality of the plates is top notch. (And it's relatively affordable too!)
