Great outdoor space with decent Lighting and heaters. Inside is cosy and spacious at the same time

We were really disappointed with this place. We were visiting the area and had been recommended to go there. Rose and beer were warm and despite informing staff of this all I was offered was ice to put in the wine. Food was highly average. Fish and chips were horrible with no effort made to even give the impression of decent home made chips. French fries thrown on the plate! Tables were squashed together and we were given a table that was far too small for our party.
Over priced and has delusions of grandeur -a few "distressed" wooden tables and exposed light fittings doesn't mean you have to dum down standards and charge ridiculous prices.
Consider whether you really want to spend your money here.

Nice and cosy neighbourhood pub with friendly staff/clientele and generous outdoor space. Beer selection is unadventurous but the selection of wine is decent. I wish I lived nearby so that I could become a patron of this pub!
