I love this pub, I always stop here for a drink when I am in London. I prefer the ground floor front bar. The people who have drunk at the bar, and subjects of conversation over the centuries are a feast for the imagination

Lovely pub with a great decking out back offering lovely sunset views across the Thames. Best pub quiz here too - but book ahead as it's busy. (Listen out at the end to see how Hell in a Handbasket did)

What a beautiful and cosy and simply fabulous place ! We only went for drinks but the food smelt delicious...shame we were not hungry. We sat on the rear terrace over looking the Thames and London Bridge being kept warm by the patio heaters. The interior is beautiful and quintessential British. We walked there from the tower of London along the river bank. A very pleasant walk (35mins). I am was so pleased that we visited the mayflower. Highly recommended

Lovely little pub on the Thames. The food here is absolutely delicious and they've got a good selection of booze.
It is very small though and does get very busy!! Upstairs has a restaurant so I would book there if you want to eat.
There is standing space at the front, and a lovely jetty at the back of the pub. There's a gazebo out back to protect you from the rain, and they used to provide you with blankets and hot water bottles in the colder months, but not sure if they do that still.

Lovely pub. Quite authentic atmosphere. Has a terrace overlooking the river. Drinks were reasonably priced and food was very delicious. We went for the quiz night which was quite enjoyable (finished tied for second place). Would recommend.
