This is a delightful pub and would be my local if I lived here. They have a nice beer and cider selection and tasty pub food. The lamb pie is savory and good and served with veg that isn't cooked to death. The beef burger has cheddar on top and is nice and juicy (you can get it topped with bacon or fried black pudding). It's served with chips that are crispy on the outside and tender and moist on the inside. It's cozy and has a nice vibe. There are several indoor rooms and an open air beer garden. The staff is friendly. Recommended!!

Great pub for a beer: great selection and nice atmosphere. The menu has some more interesting options than your standard pub, but the cooking is sometimes a bit of a let down. Apart from the scotch eggs - the chef has these down to a T.

Visiting on 07/09/17. In short, great first impression. Lively in a friendly way, dedicated and professional staff, interesting beer, grabbing atmosphere, a place to bring close friends if you want to talk drink or socialise. Highly recommended.
More in depth these is traditional oak slatted countryside pub (think farmhouse) with a mix of seating from comfy low cushioned coaches to leather settees and cushionec bar stools. A highlight is the large selection of games and a dollhouse collection. Beer was fresh at time of visiting, interesting flavours. Only negative point is that two bar staff on busy Thursday night and they had to deal with 360 degree bar, but worth a visit for those who like friendly, homely and or intereting decor

Feels like a proper pub. The food is great with some nice vegetarian options. Wide selection of beers to choose from and the staff are always friendly and kind even when they're super busy.
They also have a folk night which isn't too loud so you can still find a quiet corner of you need.

A very nice atmosphere for a traditional community British pub. As a tourist the bartender was very helpful and kind towards us.
The food was very tasty. I had the hash and was very satisfied. One of my favorite places in London to eat and drink.
