Really nice downstairs since the renovation a while back now.

Sunday lunch was awful. Potatoes inedible, meat and veg cold. Wouldn't return. Barman was very apologetic but other reviewers point to this being pretty standard.

Ratings well deserved. Quiet (for a pub), Sierra Nevada 🍺, fantastic staff (love the cook, very nice humble guy who cones out to serve customers sometimes), and best of all decent food.
