I understand that this is a budget hotel but there are some limits. The place looks bad, old and the bedrooms are really poorly furnished and decorated; this part I can accept from a budget hotel. But, this place is absolutely filthy, it smells horrible (like animal urine), especially in the bedrooms and is so bad it's actually quite hard to think about anything else. They keep the windows open and the fans on but this is not working. Only use this place if there are really no other choices.

Somewhere between a hotel and hostel, as there are private rooms but shared bathrooms. 55 pounds a night feels like a lot to pay for that, but it is London. Staff is friendly and the place is reasonably clean. Beds are not comfortable.

Filthy hotel, really damp, 1 bathroom door everyone which was also really small. It stank everywhere, the personnel even stank. They
Were really, REALLY rude. You had the feeling they wanted you out. Also in my bed, I stayed for 4 nights, I've been bitten by some insect's that are nested in there. Horrible.

The two good things about the hotel are that it's extremly near to the Center and at least the bedsheets are mostly clean.
Coming to the cons there is to mention that the walls, the floor and the bath are totaly dirty. I realy haven't seen something so dirty befor.
Overall it's pretty cheap for the location, but take something you can wear all the time, cause you don't want to touch the floor bearfoot.

I needed a cheap place to stay for a night while in London for 24hours. This fitted the bill for £40. I was able to check in whenever before midnight, it was a 5 min walk from the tube station. And there's a McDonald's a 10 min walk away which was perfect for a quick dinner.
The man in reception when I arrived was friendly enough, told me to watch out for the leak as he pointed to my room.
My room, as you can see from the picture was reasonably small, but not bad at all.
It was also very warm! The window had been left open for me and the fan on full blast to compensate which was nice.
The major downside to this was the shared bathroom, which was tiny. It was also really gross that evening, but had been cleaned by the morning. It was to be shared between 5 or 6 rooms (at least) and so I felt stressed about that. But in all honesty it was totally fine.
If I needed a quick place to stay for a night I'd stay here again. Not holiday quality but for the purposes of my visit just perfect.
