Nice little hotel right ontop of the British museum. Staff were delightful and considering its position it's not too dear.. breakfast could have been better, but that's my only complaint and that was just because they had run out of bacon and scrambled eggs 2 minutes before I got there. 5 minutes walk from Holborn station.

Hotel rooms are dated. First room I was put into (Number 7) was dark and right next to the lift so very noisy so I asked to be moved. Second room (212) was better in terms of location but the temperature was too warm with no air temp control and the only relief was to open the window during the day but as soon as you closed the curtains the air flow stopped so I had to use a noisy small fan. Had 2 nights with no sleep. TV was also bad with it being stuck in a horrible zoomed in mode meaning most of the picture was cut off so had to revert to watching TV on laptop. Asked for it to be looked at but never fixed. No leisure facilities unless you pay to use their sister hotels. Stayed in the Grange Tower Bridge before which is leagues ahead of this. Very poor value.

I was attending an eork event and the staff were really great but the booking was made by a third party company and was simply not fit for purpose. The food was really good and I think the venue would suit social rather than business events better.

Excellent service, room was lovely. Staff were very polite. In a lovely part of London. Would highly recommend the hotel to all friends and family
