Rooms not maintained at all. Peeling paint. Chunks missing from side table and chairs. Unclean bathroom. Had to wash out the bath from the last people who were here. Breakfast was a joke. Overdone eggs. Watery scrambled eggs. Cold beans. Fruit juice that had seperated in the jug. Im thankful it was free as it was not worth wasting money on.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We got a room in the basement next to the parking. We couldn't sleep whole night because of the noise from the street, noise from the severs, fire alarm at 4am.. The building is very old so we clearly heard the hotel staff working upstears since 5 am and people talking outside the property. At 6 am we had to leave, because of the leak in our room.
The hotel staff was very rude and ignored our complains. The manager happen to be even worst and arrogant. All we heard for them was, that it's not their fault and they didn't apologize for anything. We met another guest complaining about the same things in the reception, but she resign of speaking to them when she realized they don't listen to her. The condition of the room and whole building was also very poor, so there is absolutely nothing good I could say + parking fee 10£. This place just shouldn't exist.

The bed was too hard and you can feel the springs. The room fridge made a clicking noise throughout the night. The noise insulation is nil and you therefore hear anyone walking in the halls as if they were in your room. English breakfast consisted of eggs and beans and toast.
On the plus: staff was nice.
