I was aware of the too many bad reviews about this hotel and was scared to death about bed bugs. BUT fortunately it was a good experience, we were in room 407 and it was very clean, no signs of insects or animals of any sort. The international reception staff wasn't too kind (probably because many of them were from other countries) but helpful enough to let me store luggage two hours after check out.
It was an overall good experience but I do get where the bad reviews come from, The hotel did indeed look a bit dirty and had a filthy moquette all' over the stairs and also lacked an escalator. Breakfast is exactly how they describe it to be. Anyway if you wanna try this hotel, try it at your own risk, you may be very lucky or extremely unsatisfied. If anything consider getting an Airbnb. Which is cheaper and probably less risky.

First, if you're a tourist, know that they'll make you buy a plug adaptor. My room was small, dirty and the windows was both hard to open and close. Another thing, you better bring your blanket because all they give you is a very thin sheet with an even thiner plaid. Needless to say I was freezing the whole night.

Dont book this hotel expecting 5 star luxury. If you would rather spend your money enjoying London itself and dont want to spend a small fortune on accomadation then this place is for you.Simple unfussy rooms, friendly staff,great location and a price that is hard to beat.
On the downside i would say however that the rooms were slightly cold but there is a heater provided and the bed blankets could do with being updated.
Breakfast wich is included in the price is standard fare and is in keeping with the price you pay.
All in all i would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

Two star hotel. Not too bad if you know what to expect and just.need place to sleep. Clean, not too noisy and close to parks and metro.

Hotel rooms were rather tight fit, smaller than a New York apartment. Included breakfast was enough to satisfy the morning hunger. Disappointed by the lack of Wi-Fi on the upper floors, and no safe in rooms. The neighborhood is wonderful and quiet. Lots of places to eat nearby. Overall it was comfortable, safe, and quite.
