I booked this as a package deal online. When I viewed the pictures and the amenities I thought it would be ok, but when we got there the pictures on this website doesn't match what they advertise! The picture of the bar area shows liquor and a 24 hour coffee dispenser, but when we got there none of that was there. The bar was empty, just a piece of furniture.
It states also on the website that there was free internet in the lobby only, but when we got there, there was no internet at all!
The radiator heating system in the room was not working and it was cold, but when we asked why they said it was on a timer that comes on at 8 pm and is on for some time, but we learned that it 'did' come on at 8 pm but when we woke up at 3:00 am it was off. There is no way to turn it on from the room. The owner has it on a timer so you are at their mercy.
Also, our first night their fire alarm went off and everybody came running out of their rooms and congregated in the lobby worried the place was burning down. But it turns out someone tried to blow dry their hair and the cheap wiring in the place smoked the place and caused the alarm to go off.
The elevators sound like they are on their last leg.
Seriously, this place is a dive, and I would NOT recommend this place to my worst enemy. It is NOT a 3 star, more like a 1 star slum!!
And when we tried to ask for our money back because what they advertise on their website is not what you get, they said it was NON REFUNDABLE and we are out of luck!
We had a horrible experience thanks to this slum place and it really left us with a negative experience in London because of this dive!

Decent place, rooms a bit dated, but clean. Eggs, cereal, toast with condiments for breakfast. Good value, great location

PEMBRIDGE PALACE OF BED BUGS
Traveled from NY to London for a week of sight seeing and relaxation. But ended up being a week of discomfort, disgust, and irritation.
I would leave 0 stars if possible. Room 110 had bed bugs. At first I thought the itchy spots were an allergic reaction, until the following nights where they continued to appear on my skin and of course when I finally saw the bed bug itself.
The room itself was unappealing, and overall a bad experience. See pictures below. The pictures of the bites are only few of the many I got.

I was travelling to attend a conference at London Hilton Metropole. I was looking for a central, reasonabally priced hotel for my stay. I have to say the hotel really met my expectations. Room and bathroom were very clean. The room is just the right size for one person. Staff are friendly and helpful, they helped me to do an early check in at 8 in the morning. Location of the hotel is very central, Oxford street, Hyde Park and all other attractions are within 2 to 3 mile distance. Breakfast is OK, but could be much better. Overall, my experience has been satisfactory

Very cramped rooms. Breakfast is an odd selection not worth revisiting. Very hot rooms in summer with no fans or air conditioning. But must say. Very helpful and responsive staff. Very clean hotel. Great location near hyde park, metro and Queenswaywith good night life etc.
