If i could leave less than 1 star, i would! Service was beyond terrible and food was average at best. Staff did not know what they were doing. Got served the wrong drinks, food bought at different times, wrong food delivered to our table and then finally they bought out the last dish which was completely different to what was written on the board, only for the staff to tell us they had got confused and written the wrong ingredients up. Conveniently next to the Design museum but i would urge people to walk a little further for something else.

Went on a Sunday for brunch since this place looked interesting. Service was very slow - to the extent we saw two other groups of customers get up and leave because it took so long for the staff to take their order after being seated. We'd already placed our order otherwise we would have done the same. When we mentioned this to the waitress she apologized and said they were short of staff so there was much they could do.
When our food arrived it was cold (even the toast and the roast tomatoes - not sure how they managed that) but by this stage we were so hungry so we just ate it. Taste was fine but overpriced for what it was.
The decor is pleasant inside and this would probably be a perfectly good place to sit with a book/laptop and a coffee, but not a good option for food. There are plenty of better options nearby so we won't be going here again.

This charming cafe is a place I will come back to again and again. The staff were all lovely and the food is to die for. You can taste the quality of the coffee and service was great.

Went for lunch and they had pretty limited choice. Ordered the tortilla and an egg with vegetables with a gluten free friend. The food took an hour to come even though we were the only ones there. The tortilla tasted fine but for £10 I expected a substantial side salad, however it was just a pile of leaves and a tomato. They only offered us 20% discount for the issues so we paid £16 for 2 coffees, an egg, 4 asparagus spears and 2 pieces of tortilla! The waiting staff were nice but let down by awful chef and overpriced menu

I was there last week with my friends, on Saturday (after visiting the design museum) the cafe looked appealing from the outside. It didn't seem that busy, but the service was terrible and only three staff members one of which was the manager. At least three tables with dirty dishes on them, the one poor waitress was running around in a panic and had to take our order twice in the space of five minuets. We eventually got our over priced coffee and cakes which were at best "just ok". Long storey short we left and had a great Italian pizza across the road despite not having a coffee at the pizza I imagine it would be a better choice. I did feel bad for the waitress.
