Genesis has been a part of my life for nearly four years now. I say it’s been a part of my life, rather than I’ve been a customer, because the relationship I have with the people there goes way beyond the usual business to client dynamic. I’d describe Dan, Chris and Loic as friends who care about me as a person as well as my physical well being.
When I first went to Genesis I was a flabby, out of shape middle aged guy who was desperate to feel fit and healthy again. Dan, the owner of Genesis, quickly worked out who would be a good match for my needs and paired me with Chris. Not only did Dan match me to Chris because he could help deliver the physical results I wanted but he also matched me to Chris because our personalities were a good fit. This is typical of the tailored approach you see at Genesis and it means the relationship becomes so much deeper.
Chris is a brilliant personal trainer. He listens to what you want to achieve and builds individual programmes suitable for hitting your targets. Chris is an expert in the field of natural body building, being a National Competitor, and has first class technical knowledge. He can also support with nutritional advice, which is essential if you are to get the physical changes you require. Most importantly though is his friendly positive attitude. This means he pushes you hard to achieve the results you want but you feel supported and cared for. This is a unique skill.
There are other services offered by Genesis including massage therapy. Loic is by far and away the best therapist I have experienced and can provide a wide variety of services including acupuncture. Like the other members of the team at Genesis, he is friendly, personable and really cares about me and how I’m feeling.
Genesis is a fantastic small business, with a fantastic culture.Dan and the team should be extremely proud of the business they have built over the last few years. It really is training with a personal touch.

Feel hesitant writing this review. I've always considered Genesis one of the best kept secrets in Shepherds Bush. It's a real gem and I feel very lucky to have stumbled upon it. I'm currently training with Chris Davis, excellent trainer, intelligent and holistic approach to my fitness and body shape, I feel strong and look forward to our sessions. Loic is one of the best physios and all the other team members are fabulous. I love the daily message for inspiration. Just hope nobody reads my review and it stays a secret, very selfish I know. Uncomfortably cold room . Therapist phone was ringing on vibrate during massage. Deep tissue this was not. Time was spent on back the rest of the body literally had oil rubbed in nothing more. Towels hard and smelly. The oil brought me out in a rash too! Started massage at 3:20 finish at 4:02 but charged me £65 full hour. Feel extremely mugged off. Waste of money. AVOID

I found Genesis when looking for support while training for a marathon. Loic was great, the massage and acupuncture treatment that he provided kept me going to reach my goal. Highly recommended.

Can't recommend these guys enough! Loic has these amazing healing hands! I had pain for a year with a thigh injury and just after one session the pain is GONE! I'm just amazed with his massage and acupuncture skills! I urge you to give these guys are go! You won't be disappointed!!
