I have just completed a series of sessions with Tania at Peacock Pilates.

I can not praise the whole experience highly enough.

I was hoping for a lot from my one to one Pilates sessions. I wanted to improve my posture, my core and my overall strength in general. I also had a niggling ache in my lower back which I had been to both chiropractors and osteopaths about, but to no avail, the ache still remained.

I gave a list of these goals to Tania and she created sessions that were tailored specifically for me, rather than a one fits all scenario.

During the sessions Tania explained each move and what muscles it targeted. She watched every movement I did like a hawk (darn those mirrored walls!) and would spot even if I was doing the smallest thing not quite right (even if one foot was a few degrees off parallel, lol) and then she would make the tiniest adjustment in my positioning but it would make a massive difference to the quality of the movement I was doing and thereby ensure that the correct muscles were being targeted and worked. And boy could I feel it!!

After only a few sessions I realised something was different with me. I wasn't feeling any pain in my lower back anymore!! I couldn't believe it as the pain had been with me for 10 years, since the birth of my children.

Tania got muscles activated that I didn't know existed! I cursed her at the time, but I felt stronger lesson after lesson. Everyday things like running for the bus and climbing stairs felt so much easier. My general walking stride improved and even my swimming at the gym is faster due to my increased strength.
It has seriously benefited me in every area of my life.

My friend commented on my good posture and another on the toned lean muscle definition of my upper body and arms.

Peacock Pilates helped me achieve every goal and more. Such as the extra unexpected benefit of my now very pert bottom. :)

It is now so ingrained in me that even if I think about rounding my shoulders as I bend to brush my teeth, I can hear her voice in my head, telling me "Shoulders back Michelle!!"

Thank you Tania for introducing me to my rhomboids, I love them.

You are a fab teacher who I happily recommend .

I have tried Pilates several times before, but Tania, the instructor by far was the best, She pays attention to the slightest detail and makes sure that the I use the correct movement while doing the exercise . I took 8 continuous sessions with her and noticed great improvement in my fitness level. After that I travelled to Austria for skiing and OMG I felt nothing , no pain at all (we skied for more than 5 hours a day) . Thank you Tania you're the best !!

A few years ago I had a serious skiing accident which meant I could not do any hard sporting activity for quite some time. Being used to gym training I found it difficult to know what exercises I could and could not do to try and improve my back strength and fitness level.
I started with Tania having never used a Pilates reformer before and immediately noticed results. Tania is a methodical and focused trainer who provides me with a customized routine specific to my requirements and aspirations. After every class I would feel that I had worked muscles that I never even knew I had!
Working with Tania is an extremely rewarding, motivating and not to mention fun experience which has helped improve my strength and muscle tone more than any previous weight training or gym sessions that I had done before!

I just had a great 1-on-1 Pilates Reformer session on the Reformer and the Cardio-Tramp! Whoever said Pilates is not for men has clearly never tried it at Peacock Pilates London! It was really challenging yet fun and it was an excellent workout. I worked muscles that I've never used before and I felt like it was helping to strengthen my injured shoulder. I have already booked in for my next Pilates session. I highly recommend them.

I have been doing pilate for many years now and it is only since going to Peacock Pilate that I am experiencing the real thing. Having one to one lessons with Tania has been the best experience, we constantly try out new exercises and work on all areas of my body. Tania knows how to push you while still making the session fun and interesting. Not only you feel like you have had the best work out, the session also goes very quickly which in my eyes is always a good sign! I highly recommend to anyone, never felt so toned and alive before going to Peacock.
