Staff were extremely unhelpful, added multi access to my account to use the gym. My pin still wouldn't allow access and the staff said they were unable to help and referred me to a help line that was closed.

Loved the gym before the refurb; absolutely wouldn't go anywhere else afterwards! The 600k they have put into the gym over the summer has improved it 10-fold, and i'm pretty sure that you won't find a better option for the money in London! All the equipment is brand new, and the new training area at the back and bigger weights room has really taken this place to the next level. Only negatives are that it does get extremely busy at peak times of the day, but this adds to the atmosphere in the place.
One big recommendation to management - please install a paper towel machine or two in the gym for wiping down equipment after use. I think this is the only thing that is currently missing...apart from a pool ;)

Discriminate against females. Bars and plates accommodate males but not females. Other gyms accommodate female training in lifting weights by providing lighter bars and plates to build up confidence. Plates start at 10kg and management resistant to provide lower plates. Other gyms like gym box, virgin active provide such equipment and do not discriminate against female members. A disgrace!!! 600k refit and they can't provide for female members!!! JOKE
