Worst gym in town... Advertises to be open from morning to evening but is not. Been signed up for White collar, but they also do nothing about that, despite advertising they would...

At the beginning of this year I was a physical mess - I'd let myself go massively and stacked the weight on from too much drinking, eating rubbish, and didn't feel like I had the motivation or will to get back in shape. This was also rubbing off on other things - work, general mood, and just not making the most of life.
Finding Ringtone was a godsend in getting myself healthy again - I walked in the gym with the idea to:
1) Get healthy again
2) Learn to box a bit
3) Meet some new people
Twelve month later:
1) I've shifted around 15kg.
2) Taken part in a white collar boxing night run by Ringtone
3) Met a load of great people and made some proper friends in the gym
Ringtone fosters a great atmosphere through it's trainers, staff and the way the gym operates. It is a small place but busy, everyone encourages each other, the trainers push you and get you working hard and motivated, and it's a warm welcoming place for all.
Ben Day, Ringtone Owner, is a proper top - he's like Billy The Whizz hit by lightening - full of energy, excitement, passion and love for his sport and gym. He's also recently gained the southern area title and will go on to bigger things - this all adds to making the gym the unique place it is.
I really could go on - but this gym has been fantastic for me. I love the place! Come down!

I've been boxing since the late 80s and have trained in many gyms around the UK since then- rough n ready amateur gyms and some of the best known pro gyms like the Beckett, Cooper, Peacock and Champs Camp.
Boxing was different then, gyms were different. I loved it.
Things have changed. But Ben has created a space where anyone feels welcome, regardless of their level of experience with boxing. It comes from his vision, passion, sincerity and his open minded and friendly attitude.
The boxing gym has always been a sanctuary for me and Ben's space has offered me refuge many times. Somewhere I can go and sweat out the worries but also have a laugh, talk, and enjoy seeing others reaping the benefits of exploring the noble art.
Great place.

The best thing about this gym is that it is as far away from a normal gym as you could hope to find. No serious muscle-heads or gym bores, just straight honest good people who share a love for boxing.
You are made to feel very special as soon as you enter the gym by both the staff and the experience of walking down the hallowed, lit staircase and once you are in the gym space, you could be forgiven for thinking you have walked into a nightclub instead of a boxing gym.
LED and Disco lights flash around the place and all kinds of music is played in every corner or a gym which is fully stocked with all of the equipment you need for a full workout.
Staff are always on hand to give you some tips, hold the pads or just let you get on with your own thing. The essence of this gym is that you can feel free to do what you want at your own pace. You are never put under any pressure to join in (but you will once you get going!) or do anything you dont feel comfortable doing.
If you are looking for a gym with a difference, look no further.

At first I was very nervous about going to a boxing gym...but the staff and trainer soon put my mind at ease with their friendly and professional service. The gym itself is fully loaded...wow!! I was impressed from the minute I went in to the minute I left!! I now go twice a week and I love it!! I would highly recommend that you get down there and get training!!
