Small maintained patch with a tennis and 'play court, mature trees and shrubs, fronting former historic almshouses and opposite the impressive 1897 'Passmore Edwards Library'
Named after the 17th.Century philanthropist, Robert Aske, best remembered as the funder of the 'Haberdashers' Aske's schools.
Now you know if someone askes.

This is a tiny park that I always cut through instead of walking along the road. There are often people playing tennis, basketball or practising their tumbling (there's a circus skills school nearby). It's pretty modest but a nice place to pass half an hour among squirrels and birds.

Interesting architecture, a small park, tennis and basketball courts. Not exactly a place to go lie in the grass but nice to sit for a few minutes.

Tiny piece of grass. Nice tennis court and a five-a-side / basket ball court. Clean and pretty.
