We found Hudson Garden Rooms after looking at several other suppliers of garden rooms, both on-line and in person in their show rooms. Our interest was initially focused on getting a room that I could occasionally work from home in, but quickly turned into something slightly larger with an en suite so that it could be a practical guest room.
Chris came and surveyed the area and went through the various options with us and showed us pictures of his other builds - one of which fit our exact requirements. He was clear where he thought there might be challenges and considered the ins and outs of the jobs before going away. After a rather quick reflection and reference from someone else he had recently done a build for, we decided to go with his team.
Throughout the off-site build he sent pictures to us showing progress and when the team showed up they had an ambitious timetable that they aimed to work towards. In any project there is the mantra "cost, quality, time, pick any two". In our case, it was time that was a bit of an overestimate and the build took longer than expected, some of which was due to assumptions in the planning stage (e.g. access, clearance). However, despite the time delays, Chris made sure the job was done to the standard he expected. So although the process wasn't perfect, the output is fantastic.
Since it has been built we have found that we use it for a variety of purposes, from a music room with the children, to an office, to the guest room we didn't even think we really needed. This has been particularly useful over the last few months as my wife sometimes works night shifts in the hospital and it gives her a very quiet place to sleep during the day time whilst the kids and I can be noisy in the house.
It's a lovely room.

Chris has great vision and experience when it comes to designing the right room for the space in question. His build team are bright and professional and between them they will design and build you your perfect solution. A pleasure to work with and the end result surpassed our expectations - great job!

Chris and the team did an excellent job on our granny annex. They were very helpful in explaining how the build works, always polite and courteous and we are very satisfied with the build quality. I advise anyone to get the extra insulation as well, well worth it for the winter.
