Great experience - the facilities are really nice, the staff are friendly, helpful and really buy into the experience and the potential benefits it brings. It was my first experience of anything like this, so I was pleased when I was given helpful tips and directions to get the best out of my first float. The pre and post-float info around the centre and on the website add to the feeling that they've thought of everything and covered all bases.
The centre itself is built to a high spec - the floatation tanks and showers etc are spotless and feel brand new, and the whole place instills a sense of calm.
I'd recommend spending some time in the chill-out room after your float too - I had a tea and read a magazine article while I enjoyed the immediate after effects of the float.

Had a great visit to this exquisite and high standard wellness facility for floatation. Didn't know what to expect so was therefore slightly apprehensive. The staff were welcoming and professional, my room was beautiful and made the experience feel very special. The floatation was wonderful and relaxing in deep ways. The investment and specification of the facilities is very high which makes the experience value for money. The chill out room is great with lovely teas and a gentle way to return from the journey.

At Floatworks you are given a private room with a shower and a flotation tank. You get an hour in the tank with 10 minutes of music at the beginning and 5 at the end so you are aware of the time. You can choose to have the lid open/closed or in darkness. You Then float for an hour and you end up either meditating or falling asleep deep in thought. Consistent use relaxes the muscles and the salt is great for the skin. I first did this to help me get over a fear of drowning in water by convincing myself I can float and now I'm just falling in love with it and it's becoming a regular thing. Some people get bored about 20 minutes in whereas others do it for 15 years etc. If it's your first time, it's worth getting a bundle or discounted package. Fully recommend this.

Floatworks has changed my life. First of all, there's nothing like floating... It's a unique experience that I think everyone should try several times. It can take a while to get used to, but it is really worth it once you do.
And particularly at The Floatworks they have a great way of just making you feel good and relaxed.
When I book a float there I just know it's going to be a great experience.

I just tried floating for the first time and I have to say it totally exceeded my expectations. I tried it at the end of an extremely horrible & stressful day. I really didn't expect I'd be able to properly relax and yet I actually had an amazingly relaxing session. My personal experience during the session was a feeling of floating in deep space. I do yoga and meditation so I was able to get into quite a deep meditative state after the first 15 minutes of settling into the experience. It's really important to get to the studio early for your first session since they'll give you an explanation of how everything works. The staff are really helpful and friendly. The studio itself is modern and clean. They have hairdryers and straighteners which is important if you need to make yourself presentable after your float. All in all very positive experience and I would totally recommend it to anyone stressed & burned out. It definitely helped me. The only word of caution is that google maps doesn't show this place correctly on the map so you need to give them a call or ask around if you're struggling to find the studio. It's quite obvious & easy to find once you got the right directions.
